Lynn Ann Kempfer, 57, of Stafford, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Mary and Raymond Condell.

Survivors include her husband, Jon Kempfer; two children: Christopher Kempfer of Greenville, N.C., and Amanda Kempfer of Gainesville; her brother, Gary Condell of Santa Maria, Calif.; her sister, Patricia Condell, of Sussex, N.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Mass of Resurrection was held Jan. 30 at St. William of York Catholic Church. A private inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Garrisonville Elementary School, 100 Wood Drive, Stafford, VA 22556, (540) 658-6260.

Lynn Ann Kempfer, 57, of Stafford County passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at her residence. She was the wife of Jon Kempfer.

She was born July 7, 1951, in Woodbury, N.J., a daughter of the late Margaret Mary and Raymond Condell. Lynn graduated from the University of Hartford as a medical technologist. After moving to Virginia, she became a part of the Gator Community at Garrisonville Elementary for 20 years as a volunteer and staff member in the school office. Along with her husband, Jon, she is survived by her two children, Christopher Kempfer of Greenville, N.C., and Amanda Kempfer of Gainesville; her brother, Gary Condell, and his wife, Sue, of Santa Maria, Calif.; her sister, Patricia Condell of Sussex, N.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at St. William of York Roman Catholic Church with Father Robert J. DeMartino officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Private inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
